The family brewery Ryžovna was created as it should be in life – out of love. Out of love for beer – as a traditional Czech drink – and out of love for the Ore Mountains, in the heart of which the now almost extinct settlement of Ryžovna is located. Less than a century ago it was a lively village with almost 70 houses and its own brewery. It no longer stands here, but we chose one of the few surviving buildings – a former school – to continue the tradition of brewing beer in this picturesque corner on the very crest of the mountains.
The brewery is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11.00 – 19.00.
